‘I spoke with Wizkid; we discussed business not Shatta Wale’ – Reggie Rockstone

Hiplife Grandpapa and member of award winning VVIP group, Reginald Yaw Asante Osei popularly known as Reggie Rockstone disclosed that he refused to address the ‘Shatta-Wizkid’ feud in a recent conversation he had with Wizkid.

Earlier, Shatta Wale in his ‘opinion’ indicated that he doesn’t see Wizkid as a superstar hence he rather expects the ‘Come Closer’ hit maker to see him as such.
His comment ‘angered’ followers of Wizkid with some of them raining down insults on Ghanaians without sympathy.
Wizkid however ‘snubbed’ the subject; he never said a word to Shatta Wale.
“It’s about sensationalism so he needs to tread cautiously. What happened was based on fans. Timing is everything. Nigerians haven’t disrespected us; we only have a musical beef. I’m an African I will never speak against an African country…” Reggie said.
According to Reggie, Ghanaians have more issues to address in the country than to focus on a musical beef against another African country. Nigeria.
“We have more issues here. People need to also think there can be repercussions. Going to Nigerian we have to look over our shoulders now. Let’s try and get Ghana on DStv. They play a lot of Nigerian music than foreign music. We have to check our home. This could ruin businesses. Music is supposed to bring us together and not divide us. It makes it seem like we are envious of them. Let’s get our acts together…”
Meanwhile, artiste manager, Bull Dog on the same Daybreak Hitz show said Reggie Rockstone should have addressed the ‘Shatta-Wizkid’ feud.
“For him not to have called Shatta is worrying. He should have done that behind. He claimed he has spoken to Wizkid and it was a happy conversation between them. I think if he is worried, he should have spoken and addressed the issue undertone. I’m sure Reggie would do that. Shatta listens to him…” Bull Dog maintained.
