Asamoah Gyan names his top 3 Ghanaian artists

The year 2017 has witnessed the best of times and the worst of times for lovers of Ghanaian music. You could hardly turn on the radio or switch on your TV set without hearing a half-hour block of great music being played, with many outstanding albums & singles by artists receiving massive airplay than they might have.

In view of this Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan at the 8th Edition of the mentorship session, LEADseries hosted by Jay Foley at Accra Mall, revealed his top three (3) most consistent artists in Ghana.

  He said, ‘‘For this year 2017, those who have been very consistent and honestly I am being real are Livingstone Etse Satekla (Stonebwoy), Michael Owusu Addo (Sarkodie), Samini and Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr (Shatta Wale).’’
According to him, there are a lot of good songs that have being produced and released, ‘‘we all dance to it, which is good….. but talking about consistency, these there Ghanaian artiste stands out for me’’.
