See me as a brother & push my brand – ‘Teary’ Kumi Guitar kneels, begs for support

The atmosphere at the Zylofon Media conference room changed completely as Kumi Guitar’s humble appeal to the media for an unflinching support got many emotional.

Kumi Guitar who is said to have mastered his craft, producing quality songs and videos had observed that the outcomes are not commensurate with the efforts he puts in his works, went on his knees and begged all to help push his brand.
“I’m not ashamed to kneel. If there is anything more to be done, I’m ready to do it…I’m pleading with you, I want to see myself out there. I want Ghanaians to accept me and support my brand,” a teary Kumi Guitar begged at a listening session for his yet-to-be-released single, ‘Betweener’.
Adding his voice to the plea, Nana Poku [Ashes], road manager of Kumi Guitar, “Really and truly, our industry needs help. Kumi begged on behalf of everybody. We need you people. The artiste will release the music but you are the ones who will make or unmake the music. I know you get money based on the traffic on your blog but all we’re saying is we beg you. If you willingly decide to help our industry, we can go places.
  Kumi Guitar has a number of songs to his credit including ‘Scriptures’, ‘Dream’, ‘Problem’, and ‘Brown Sugar’.
‘Betweener’ is expected to be released soon. Video of the song directed by in-house director, Abass was shot in the UK.
