Justice Sophia Adinyira nominated EC Chair?

Unconfirmed report reaching us indicates that President Akufo-Addo has appointed a Supreme Court Judge, Justices Mrs. Sophia Adjeibea Adinyira, as the new Chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC).

Justice Sophia Adinyira if confirmed, replaces Charlotte Osei, who was ousted over breached procurement laws in the award of several contracts, prior to the 2016 elections.
