A GHANANIAN DJ JAILED FOR STEALING SEE REASONS WHY.

The Asamankese Circuit court presided over by Justice Ayitey Armah Tetteh has sentence a Disc Jocker to 360 days imprisonment in hard labour for stealing five curtains.

Ebenezer Dadson, the accused, popularly known as Black Sugar pleaded guilty when he was charged for stealing and unlawful entry.    

Prosecution, Sargent Joseph Boamah said the complainant is a police officer with the Asamankese Division while the accused also lives in Aboasa, near Asamankese.

According to the prosecutor, on 14/06/2019 at about 2:00am, the police officer saw the accused at his area around 3:00am with a loaded bag suspected to be stolen items and upon interrogations, the complainant retrieved five curtains and a pair of shoe in the bag.

Later on in the day, some residents, David Mensah, Paul Bentum and Nartey David went to the police station and reported the missing of their curtains and shoe and when the police took the complaints for identification, the items in the accused bag were those missing.

After investigation, the accused was charged and sent to court for Prosecution.
